Hi, I’m Kate, the founder of ABEL Pilates. I teach 2 friendly and popular classes in the Village Hall every Monday morning. All ages, bodies and abilities warmly welcome.

9:30am Intermediate Pilates  – Intermediate class mixing contemporary and classical Pilates, designed to build and strengthen core foundations.

10:45am Restorative Pilates – A gentler paced class with an emphasis on alignment and core strength, whilst improving balance, coordination and mobility

 

WHAT IS CONTEMPORARY PILATES?

Contemporary Pilates is a modern, mindful approach to movement. The unique emphasis of the Pilates method lies within the correct alignment of the body. Controlled, graceful  movements, coordinated with focused breathing, forms the basis of all Pilates practice.
