I’m a qualified yoga teacher, based in Wiltshire. I started practising yoga more than 20 years ago as a way to help me get fit, but it soon became much more about loving how yoga connects mind and body.
I continued to practise more and more until over the past few years it’s become a daily ritual. I decided to become a yoga teacher to deepen my own knowledge and connection to yoga, and so I could share my love of yoga with other people.
I was lucky enough to spend 7 years living in New Zealand, a place I consider my spiritual home. So when it came to choosing a name for my yoga teaching, the Maori word for love, ‘Aroha’ really appealed to me. ‘Aroha Yoga’ means ‘love yoga’, which I do.
